INFLUENCE OF INTERNET IN HEALTHCARE KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT

Abstract


The increasing globalization and use of the Internet, accompanied with multiple resources, pose challenges to the healthcare industry. The healthcare industry is going through a major transformation due to the influence of internet in the life of healthcare professionals, organizations as well as patients. Everyone has data, but the knowledge from that vast amount of data can only be obtained through internet in a cost effective, updated and speedy manner. As such, this exploratory paper is an attempt to throw some light on the influence of internet in Healthcare knowledge management based on the judgmental sampling of secondary sources.
