APPENDICOVESICOCOLONIC FISTULA: A VERY RARE AND INTERESTING CASE

Umesh Jethwani, Vipul Kandwal, Sajay Jain, M. C. Songra

Abstract

Vesicoenteric fistulas occur between the bladder and bowel wall. Appendicovesicocolonic fistula is a rare condition for which an accurate prelaprotomy diagnosis is difficult to make. The presentation of Appendicovesicocolonic Fistula in this form in adults also reflects state of health care in developing countries. This very rare complication should be an eye opener for the concerned authorities to improve the existing health care system.
