WOMEN EMPOWERMENT THROUGH ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT AMONG COLLEGE TEACHERS WITH REFERENCE TO TIRUCHIRAPPALLI CITY

Abstract
Despite recent development with respect to gender in acknowledge that empowerment of women will improve their status generally and enable them to actively and efficiently participated in all level of activities. Empowerment leads to self-fulfillment and self-awareness. In recent years, women have been taking interest in income generating activities, self employment and entrepreneurship. It requires technical knowledge and skill. Today huge number of young people are hungry to learn more about entrepreneurship and empowerment. The key is to combine with the knowledge and skill to lead them to success. Everybody want to lead a comfortable lie to balance the socio-economic status to cope up with the day-to-day demand. The objectives of the research are to study on women empowerment and entrepreneurship development among college teachers. The biggest focus of teachers is to provide knowledge and inspiration for educator, to help them they use their passion for helping others to promote themselves to new height. The questionnaire for survey has been prepared to analyse the opinion of women teachers in trichy.
