Abstract


The dream of cashless economy does not come under true unless or otherwise creating the awareness among the people, especially among the younger generation. In this paper an attempt is made to know the level of awareness among the college students with the help of both primary data and secondary data. Out of compulsion the digital payment system is come in to reality among the people.  The issue of demonetization leads the cashless economy and it does not follow by all sectors of economy due to lack of awareness. Due to this reason the study is considered as an important one in this situation.
