SECURITY IN ONLINE BANKING AND ELECTRONIC TRANSACTIONS

Abstract

E-commerce is a successful business-based innovation via internet. This form of business transaction strategy offers many opportunities for growth in business and marketing services in various aspects. Nowadays electronic transactions are becoming very common. People prefer staying at home and purchasing the things that they want and also pay for them through online payment mode. Secure payment gateway for such online payments is very necessary to protect it from unauthorized use. Security for such transaction is essential because such payments requires confidential information such as credit card number,pin numbers, account numbers etc.This paper helps to review the security of payments for purchase of products or payment of bills through credit card via online transaction and by using mobile application like ‘paytm’, ‘PayPal’.., etc.
