AWARENESS AND UTILITY LEVEL OF MSME FINANCIAL SCHEMES

Abstract
MSME plays a vital role in Indian economy so the government of India has given many schemes to promote new units. But as per researcher point of view many of existing MSME units may not utilize those schemes. In this regard, this Study was conducted among the MSMEs Entrepreneurs using various schemes which is provided by central governments through banks. Research is conducted in and around Tiruppur district. Several studies have been conducted on the access and lack of access to facilities among MSMEs. No research has been conducted in Tiruppur district in specific, regarding the awareness and utility of various schemes offered by central government through public, private and Industrial development banks. This research is based on the primary data, which was collected among 230 MSME Entrepreneurs in Tiruppur district, using well structured questionnaire. This study reveals that, respondent’s area of habitation, femininity, educational ability, nature of business and turnover of respondents concern etc., are to know the level of awareness and utilization of the major financial schemes offered by government of India through banks.
