ROLE OF KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES ON EMPLOYEES PERFORMANCE IN SELECTED INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY COMPANIES IN BANGALORE

Abstract


In ancient days, knowledge was passed verbally from one person to another. The industrial revolution changed the scenario and the emergence of factories and industries paved the need for systematic knowledge and it became more and more specialized as the time passed. Since then, there has been an exponential growth in scientific and practical knowledge. In the twenty first century, this process has taken rapid speed due to the improvements in the information and communication technologies. This article focuses on role of knowledge management strategies on employees’ performance in selected Information Technology companies in Bangalore.
