SOCIO-ECONOMIC STATUS AND WORKING CONDITIONS OF STREET CHILDREN IN COIMBATORE CITY

Abstract


The present study throw lights on the socio-economic status and working condition of children and to identify the influencing factors that the children to work in the street. The data collected from 75 samples by adoptive incidental purposive sampling technique. The study found that, majority of them worked for their economic situation and to be independent to live their life in the street.
