A STUDY ON INVESTOR’S INVESTMENT DECISION ON EQUITY SHARES IN SECONDARY MARKET
Abstract
In the present scenario, the investment options available to the investors are many and they are different which are motivating them to save or investment for better return. Investment and investment decision on secondary market among investors acts as a critical role. Investors perhaps have a lot of investment avenues to park their savings on the basis of risk and returns attached. Most of time any investor, always expect more returns with lesser risk. The investors have many assets to choose from, and the amount of information available to the investors is staggering and continually growing. The study examines that the level of importance assumed by the investors on various investment objectives based on the demographic variables and selective factors. The relationship between these variables and objectives has been computed. This study has been done in the selected areas of Bangalore Urban District with the help of primary data collected using a structured questionnaire by adopting five-point likert scale and analyzed by using correlation. Primary data is collected from 50 respondents by using convenience sampling method.
