A RARE CASE OF SELF INSERTION OF URETHRAL FOREIGN BODY IN A CHILD

Abstract


Self insertion of foreign bodies in urethra in pediatric age group is extremely rare. An 8 year old boy presented with complaints of difficulty in passing urine due to insertion of a foreign body in his own urethra. The boy was not suffering from any psychiatric illness. The clinical presentation and management of the child is discussed with review of relevant literature.
