Abstract

Introduction: Choledochal cyst is an aneurysmal dilatation of the biliary tree involving either extrahepatic or intrahepatic biliary ducts or both, presenting primarily in infants and young children.

Material & Methods: 4 patients were included in the study diagnosed as the case of choledochal cyst underwent Lilly`s repair 2012-2014.

Conclusion: Choledochal cyst disease is uncommon. The presentation of disease is more common in children but increasing in adult population. A correct diagnosis and early surgical treatment are important to avoid the postoperative complications including malignant degeneration.
