Abstract

Supply chain elements and processes continue to evolve due to enhanced best practices and advancements in technology. However, organizations have been seeking innovative approaches to make their supply chains resilient when similar disruptions occur to minimize the financial damage. This paper discusses the implications of major disruptions that occurred during the early 21st Century and presents the mitigation strategies developed by supply chain professionals to ensure organizations’ resilient global supply chains.
