Abstract


The banking sector is an elixir of life of an economy in the present era. Banks are an unavoidable part of Indian economy. Even though a good number of the population reside outside the services of formal banking, it plays a major role in a developing country like India. The present situation witnesses the development of many Private sector banks in our country. Today many private and public sector banks are working in our country. Banking job also thus becomes a more competitive and challenging job nowadays. So it is imperative to study about the factors affecting job satisfaction of employees working in the banking sector.
