USAGE OF PAYTM TRANSACTIONS

Abstract


The present generation of people in the society are wholly dependent on the technological advancements. In their busy schedule mobile payments such as paytm plays a major role by saving their valuable time. This also encourages the DIP Digital India programme which was an initiative taken by the government of India, which plans to make India a digitalised economy with paperless and cashless environment. Paytm was one among the online payment applications which is used for cashless transactions and it is used by maximum number of the people in the country. So usage of the paytm encouraged the people in the country go cashless and paperless and make online transactions which supports digital India programme. The growth of paytm was taken place after the process of demonetization of currency notes by the Indian Government. Nowadays maximum number of people use pay tm for their daily transactions such as recharge, bill payments, online transactions and booking tickets such as movie tickets, bus tickets and train tickets. The present paper is focussing on the usage of paytm transactions.
