INVESTORS PREFERENCE TOWARDS LIFE INSURANCE INVESTMENT PORTFOLIO

Abstract
Insurance has become an inevitable aspect in human life. The present study was conducted in Coimbatore district. Coimbatore is third largest city in Tamil Nadu, with a population of more than 1.928 Million. There are more than 30,000 tiny small, medium and large industries and textile mills. The city is known for its entrepreneurship of its residents, more than 60 percentage of population in Coimbatore have taken a life insurance policies. So, the study of investors’ preference towards life insurance investment portfolio will portray the importance of life insurance investment. Further the study reveals that the respondents are getting reasonable return for their investments and they feel safe and secure to invest in life insurance. The policyholders expressed that life insurance investment is quite safe for the investors and could be considered as good portfolio.
