STRESS AT WORKPLACE – AN EMPHIRICAL STUDY OF ANGANWADI WORKERS IN TIRUCHIRAPPALLI DISTRICT

Abstract


The present study was conducted among the Anganawadi workers of Tiruchirappalli district in Tamilnadu to unearth the level of work stress experienced by them.  Work stress is a reality among Anganwadi workers. A descriptive research design is used in the study Departmental intervention, implementation of stress management to harmonize the personal, professional and social life of the workers, booster training and handholding exercises, preparation of stress information materials and its dissemination among workers are suggested.
