BUDDHISM, MARXISM, AND POSTMODERNISM: READINGS INTO SIMULTANEITIES AND SYNCHRONIZATION

Ravi Bhatt

Abstract

Buddhism, Marxism, and Postmodernism have in fact responded so well to the question of reality that it becomes pertinent on our part to put an examination of the whole situation. The paper in consideration deals with the question of Reality as it has come to be discussed in Buddhism, Marxism, and Postmodernism. In Buddhism, Reality is not fullness and completeness; in Marxism Reality is not Homogeneity, and in Postmodernism, Reality is not unity or adequacy of external to internal. These systems proceed to understand the fact that epistemological transformations governed by ethics of culture, civilization, and religion are still on the process of making and by no means, it can be considered to have been made.

Keywords

Buddhism, Marxism, Postmodernism, Reality, Homogeneity, Epistemological transformations.
