CONGENITAL INGUINAL HERNIA REPAIR IN A MEDICAL COLLEGE

Abstract


Congenital inguinal hernia is one of the most common congenital problem seen in children. Study was conducted on the operated cases of congenital inguinal hernia were admitted in a 1 year period of April 2012 to march 2013 in R.D. Gardi Medical College, Ujjain. We observed that congenital inguinal hernia is more common on right side & is much more common in male. Elective surgery cases were having much less complication than that in emergency group and as all the cases were operated with satisfactory results.
