Abstract

The current research aims at investigating learners’ attitude towards learning in Health Information Management and their Self-Efficacy beliefs. The design of the study includes the cross-sectional survey method. The simple random sampling method was used to select a sample of 66 Health Information Management learners from Botho University. The research instruments including an “Attitude scale towards learning” and “Self-Efficacy” scale. The Independent sample t-test and One-Way Analysis of Variance results (ANOVA) indicated that there are no statistical differences between attitude towards learning and self- efficacy beliefs based on gender and age. Pearson Product – moment correlation which were computed to determine the correlation between attitudes towards learning and self- efficacy beliefs indicated there is a strong positive correlation between them.
